Perfect afternoon for...

Hot cocoa! It was freezing today, so after Vivian woke up from her nap, the kids had a snack and I decided a cup of hot cocoa would be perfect to help us warm up. I used my mom's (Hershey's) old recipe and heated it up (just a little since neither of them have ever had a warm beverage before) on the stovetop and for fun we used their little teacups and saucers from the play kitchen. We even had some whipped cream for on top which added to the excitement. :)

Snowday part 2

We were still snowed in today after about 20 inches total fell on Saturday. Cabin fever began to set in during the afternoon, so we braved the cold and went outside to play.
