5-month teddy picture

It's been a long time since we took a picture of Owen with his teddy bear. I think the last one was when he was 11-weeks. I was trying to do them every week, but I kept forgetting to take the pictures. So maybe we'll do every month instead.

Grandma's 85th surprise birthday weekend

This past weekend we traveled to Hershey for the Lang Gang get-together to celebrate Grandma's 85th birthday. We had so much fun visiting with everyone and introducing Owen to the family. My only regret (and it's a big one) is not taking more pictures.

Believe it or not, I have very few pictures with Owen. So this weekend I asked Ben to snap some of the two of us. Here's one I liked:

Luke & Erin come for a visit

We were finally able to find a weekend to catch up with Luke & Erin. They drove out to our place this past Saturday and got to meet Owen. We had fun catching up and look forward to our next get together which Ben is certain will be the 3rd annual wine tour. :)

Our baby has a Valentine!

Ben picked Owen up at daycare yesterday and in the bag that contained his dirty bottles and clothes for the day was a tiny little envelope that said "Owen". I thought, oh how cute, the teachers gave him a Valentine's Day card. But I was wrong! Turns out Owen has a little girlfriend at daycare....

A visit from Godmomma Molly

Molly came to visit today. We had lunch together and played with Owen. And Mol rocked him to sleep for his afternoon nap. Owen enjoyed his quality time with his Godmomma.

Bumbo seat

We finally broke down and bought Owen a Bumbo seat. He likes it so far. Except when he drops a toy and can't reach it to pick it back up.

Molly's birthday celebration

Last night Grandma and Grandpa Marshall (Ta-Ta and Pa-Pa) came over to babysit so we could attend Molly's 30th birthday bash. We went out to dinner first, then met up with everyone at the bar. Everyone had a great time, especially when Ben got up to sing "I wanna sex you up" during karaoke.

Saturday visit to a winery

The weather was so gorgeous yesterday that we decided to pack a picnic and go out to a winery or two. We ended up choosing Hidden Brook and Lost Creek - both in Leesburg, VA. Owen had a bottle and then we ate our lunch on the patio at Lost Creek.
