Playdate with Kayla

This past Monday we went over to Kel's house to meet up with Molly for dinner. Before Molly got there, Kel and I fed the babies and then sat them down on the couch for some pictures. Even though they are a year apart, I still think they had fun together.

Owen would not take his hands off his new cell phone even for a minute during this bath. He loves it! Thank you Louise!!!

Owen feeds himself for the first time!

We've fed him Puffs before, but he had never put them in his mouth by himself like he did tonight!

Impromptu Memorial Day BBQ

We got together with Molly & Tim and Mike & LuAnn for an impromptu Memorial Day BBQ at our place. The guys grilled up hot dogs, hamburgers and Italian sausages and we ate outside on the deck while Owen napped. Then the rain started so we headed inside for some board games. A good time was had by all. :)

Boating with Ta-Ta and Pa-Pa

Today we went boating with Ta-Ta and Pa-Pa. When we got to the marina they had a picnic ready for us. We had a lovely lunch and then loaded everyone onto the boat. Owen's teeth have started to get to him. He was extremely fussy almost the entire time on the boat. That is, until Ta-Ta gave him some cold blueberry yogurt. That seemed to sooth his sore gums. For a little while at least. After a quick ride around the bay, we got back to the marina and packed up to go home. Owen was asleep as soon as we started strolling back to the car. He slept the entire ride home. Despite Owen's fussiness, we had a great time and hope to do it again sometime soon.

Playdate with Sarah Catherine

Owen's playmate Sarah Catherine came over today for lunch and a walk. It was fun for Steph and I to see how much the babies have grown since our last visit together.

Look who's standing!!!

Owen's new thing is to stand (holding my hands) and then he gets his balance and lets go. He stands by himself for a few seconds before plopping down on his bottom. He's using his baby gym to practice standing too:

Another tooth is poking through!

Owen has another tooth about to make an appearance. It's one on the side of his bottom two. So far no fussiness (I'm still knocking on wood), just lots of drooling going on.
