Hershey baby shower!!!

This past Sunday our close family friend Cindy Cicconi, and my mom threw Ben and I a couples baby shower in Hershey! Our family and friends gathered at the Leader family farm for an afternoon of catching up. It was so good to see everyone and spend time together. Ben and I were overwhelmed by the generosity of our loved ones. Our little guy is already so spoiled! He's one lucky boy!!!

Thank you so much to everyone ~ we can't wait to introduce you to our baby when he makes his grand entrance into the world sometime in the next 7 weeks (or less)!
Here are some pics from the day:

Congratulations to my Aunt Mary & new Uncle Larry!

This past Friday my Aunt Mary got married to a wonderful guy and we were there to help them celebrate. It was a beautiful ceremony and Aunt Mary looked gorgeous in her ivory wedding dress. My cousin Ann Louise was the maid of honor and was so pretty in a pale green dress. It was so nice to get to visit with family who we don't get to see very often. We were all missing my Uncle Max who is in the hospital about to have heart surgery ~ but we know he'll be feeling much better very soon. Here are the few pics I took at the wedding (before my camera dropped on the concrete and broke...but it did last 4 solid years! and now we have a new one just in time for baby boy.)

This one's for you Mom! :)

With temperatures in the mid-90's yesterday, Ben and I decided to spend some time in our chilly basement unpacking the last of the boxes from the move. We don't have pictures on the walls yet, but it's a start.

The nursery is almost finished!

After my fun afternoon of being showered with baby gifts, I came home to find the furniture guys setting up the nursery furniture! I had washed the bedding that morning, so I was eager to set up the crib once the guys left. It's not completely done yet, but we're almost there.

Molly & Kelly host a nursery rhyme/book themed baby shower!

Yesterday was such a fun day!!! Molly and Kelly hosted a super cute nursery rhyme/baby book themed shower and a bunch of my friends were there to celebrate the upcoming arrival of baby boy! I was showered with tons of thoughtful gifts from my friends. I am so grateful to have them as friends and I can't wait til they all have babies (or more babies!) so I can return the favor.

Mol and Kel served "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" punch, "Green Eggs and Ham" quiche, "Three Little Pigs" (bacon), muffins, fruit salad, cinnamon pecan french toast, and for dessert ~ chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate cake! I definitely ate for two ~ everything was so yummy. Everyone took home a "baby powder fresh" scented candle with an adorable blue bow as a favor.

Since it was a book theme, everyone brought a book (or two or three!) to help us build baby boy's library. He was spoiled with so many beautiful books! I can't wait to read them all to him.

Thank you so much to Molly & Kelly for hosting and Adriane, Savy, Sue & her daughter Sami, Karen, Christina, Heather, Alevia, and Grandma "Ta-Ta" Tish for coming ~ it was such a fun afternoon!

Friday night in Herndon

It was such a nice night on Friday that we met up with Kelly & Matt and their daughter Kayla, their friends Scott & Faye and their sons Quinn and Brady, and Molly & Tim for another free concert in Herndon. We brought a picnic and had a great time relaxing, eating, listening to the music and watching Kayla dance.
