Sweet Potatoes

The lack of posting this week has been due to the fact that on Monday afternoon Owen came down with a fever at daycare. I dropped everything at work and pick him up to take him to the pediatrician. After several hours at the doctor's office, we were sent to the hospital so they could get an x-ray of his lungs to rule out pnemonia. Luckily it wasn't, but he did have bronchialitis - a virus that attacks the lungs. After a couple of days of rest I am happy to report that the pediatrican gave him a clean bill of health today. The only thing that remains is a cough, but she said that will fade in a week or so. On this past Sunday we went to church and aftwards, tried giving Owen sweet potatoes. He did pretty good! He's getting better and better at eating, and now he even opens his mouth for the spoon to go in. :) Enjoy the picture and video!
