Another tooth is poking through!

Owen has another tooth about to make an appearance. It's one on the side of his bottom two. So far no fussiness (I'm still knocking on wood), just lots of drooling going on.

Owen's 8-month birthday present

His top two front teeth are coming in! One is a little further out than the other, but they are both cutting through. And believe it or not, he hasn't been the least bit fussy. (Knock on wood). I tried to get a picture, but the little one wasn't cooperating. Hopefully we can get one once they're in.

Summer wardrobe

Ta-Ta was shopping up a storm! Owen is now the proud owner of this adorable summer wardrobe. If he could talk he would say: "Thank you so much Grandma Marshall!" :)

Backyard picnic

The weather was so beautiful today that I decided Owen and I should have a picnic in the backyard. I made a sandwich and took Owen, a blanket, and a bunch of toys outside. (I slathered him with sunscreen first.) We had fun playing around on the blanket in the sunshine. It's definitely something I can see us doing again.

Mommy's 1st Mother's Day!

I had an incredible first Mother's day thanks to my boys. Ben got up early and baked me homemade cinnamon hazelnut rolls. There was a fresh pot of coffee brewing when I woke up after sleeping in a bit. And my card was so cute! Mommy and Owen practiced crawling. I think it's going to be awhile before he really does it.

We had a relaxing morning and then went to church at 12pm. After church we headed out for part 2 of my mother's day present ~ lunch at a local winery. We did a tasting, bought a bottle and enjoyed the music and sunshine for an hour or so before driving home to put Owen down for a nap. I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my first Mother's Day. :)

Herndon Rocks - #1

Last night we went to the first of the free concerts in Herndon with Kelly, Matt and Kayla. We had fun enjoying adult beverages while the kiddos played and danced to the music. We're sure it was just the first of many Friday nights ~ the free concerts run all summer. (Did I mention they're free?) :)

Molly and Tim tie the knot!!!

We had an amazing weekend celebrating Molly & Tim's marriage. It started with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner Friday night and then Saturday was filled with the excitement of getting ready, taking pictures, then the beautiful ceremony and reception. Everyone had a wonderful time and we sent them off to Italy in a flurry of bubbles at the end of the night.

CONGRATULATIONS MOLLY AND TIM ~ WE LOVE YOU!

We'd like to thank Aunt Hillary, Great Grandma Marshall, Pa-Pa and Ta-Ta for babysitting all weekend for us!
