We were able to hop on an earlier connection in Chicago than we were scheduled, so we landed 2 hours before we thought we would. Which was great, because Amy landed at the same time, so the three of us hopped into the Flex for the drive to the airport. (The Flex was an upgrade from the mini-van that we had reserved, and we were stylin' on the road. Wish I would have taken a picture, but I didn't. So you'll have to use your imagination.)
We caught up with Alevia, TJ, Sarah, Mark and baby Elphie at the pool for a little before getting ready for dinner. The Lab was a brewery across the street from our hotel so we walked over and got a table outside. It was a nice night to eat outside and everyone enjoyed catching up over dinner. Mark & Sarah were visiting with one of their friends who lived in LA.
Beaker of water, anyone?
